C19-diterpenoid alkaloid C27H41NO8 ‚ from plants of the Ranunculaceae family.

 
Biological Activity

Deltaline is 2-2.5 times more active than quinidine and less toxic than this alkaloid.
The effective antiarrhythmic dosage intravenously in mammals (rats‚ cats‚ dogs) is 10-15 mg/kg.
