- Biological Activity : Fillalbin induces clonico-tonic cramps in vivo. The death of mice occurs after 2 or 3 brief cramps.
In cats, 0.5-3 mg/kg increase arterial blood pressure to about 10-24 mm Hg during 15-60 min. 3 mg/kg increase breathing amplitude and frequency.
In rabbits, drops of a 1% solution cause an irritation of conjunctiva.
- Toxicity (LD50) : mice (i.v.): 15 mg/kg.
mice (s.c.): 25 mg/kg.
- Storage recommendations : Stable when kept dry, store at +4°C, in dark and dry place. Solution for use: 0.1-1 %.
