  • Chemical Name : 1-ethyl quinicludinium bromide, N-ethyl quinuclidinium bromide.

  • Biological Activity : Nicotinic AChR : less active than Tetraethylammonium (TEA) and Tetramethylammonium (TMA) .
    Acetylcholinesterase: TMA Ki =1.87 mM; TEA Ki =1.04 mM; QEt Ki =6.5 mM [2].

  • Toxicity (LD50) : mice (orally): 450 mg/kg

  • Storage recommendations : store at room temperature in a dark place, in a dessicator (extremely hygroscopic). Solution for use: dissolve in water: 10-3M (2 mg in 9.09 ml), stable for 1-2 days at 20°C.

  • Safety recommendations : Do not swallow or inhale; avoid eye and skin contact.
