New bioactive molecules for HTS in the fields of cancerology, pain relief, haematology, cardiology, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease.
KITOXAN® is a unique selection of snakes, scorpions, amphibians and spiders venoms fractions divided in a ready-to-use kit made of 5 separate 96-well-plates. All venoms have been cleared from molecules over 8.500 Da (cytotoxic enzymes) and split up in 20 fractions.
|
Each fraction is expected to contain 5 to 10 peptides at a 10µmol concentration in 100µl.
HPLC Chromatogram and MALDI-TOF mass spectrum of each venom are also provided.

Exclusive !
The most potent Na+ channel activator.

BTX is the most active alkaloid binding at receptor site-2 on sodium channels. It activates the sodium channel even at very negative membrane potentials and keeps it open permanently by preventing channel inactivativation.

Exclusive!
The first discovered CPP (cell penetrating peptide). An activator of Ca2+ release channel / ryanodine receptors,
Maurocalcin is an agonist of ryanodine receptor type 1, 2 and 3 – It potently and reversibly modifies channel gating behaviour of the type 1 ryanodine receptor (RyR1) by inducing increased opening probabilities and a prominent subconductance behaviour.
